The Builder Book Planet Pack Project went into production. A team of creatives including designers, authors, illustrators and translators worked together to design and create 10,000 packs which were distributed across the Liverpool City Region and also in Ellesmere Port and Flintshire. This pack was the most complex to date exploring seven themes of sustainability – constructions, energy, fashion, food, innovation, recycling and transport. A huge amount of research was undertaken. This was also the first time any of the Builder Book packs had been translated into another language (Welsh). The packs included a story, activity book, interactive digital treasure hunt, a board game and a sustainable services directory for each of the areas. The pack also included a competition for children to enter which encouraged innovation and creative thought. This pack marked the start of the Planet Pack Project which will continue until at least 2026.
